LOOK Madrid 2026 opens a new chapter for one of Spain’s best-known professional beauty exhibitions. The former Salón Look will transition in 2026 to the renewed LOOK Madrid identity and a new format designed to strengthen professional specialization, the commercial component, and the quality of interaction between brands, specialists, and buyers.
From November 13 to 15, IFEMA MADRID will bring together professional aesthetics, cosmetics, facial and body care, equipment, hairdressing, barbering, nail services, and makeup. The exhibition will be complemented by professional education, demonstrations, competitions, stage formats, and events focused on beauty business development.
What does the transition from Salón Look to LOOK Madrid change?
The new brand does not mean abandoning the exhibition’s professional specialization. On the contrary, the organizers position LOOK Madrid as a more focused platform for the professional beauty industry. The exhibition covers three main areas: aesthetics and cosmetics, hairdressing and barbering, as well as nails and makeup.
For cosmetologists, the Aesthetics sector is especially important. It will showcase professional facial and body care, cosmetic brands, technologies, and equipment. For owners of salons, clinics, and beauty studios, the exhibition also offers an opportunity to compare suppliers, look for new services, and evaluate solutions not only from a trend perspective but also from the standpoint of future work with clients.
What will the program offer for aesthetics professionals?
One of the key professional events will be the XVIII Congreso de Estética, which will take place on November 14. The congress program will combine presentations, practical demonstrations, and discussions on innovations in procedures, brand building, professional communication, specialist differentiation, and beauty business development.
Special attention is given to artificial intelligence and its impact on professional practice. The organizers have included in the program the use of AI for personal brand development, communication, marketing, and business scaling. In this way, the educational component goes beyond techniques and procedures and covers management tools that affect the competitiveness of a salon or clinic.
What other professional formats are planned?
The LOOK Madrid program includes the Main Stage, LOOK Talks, and LOOK Focus. These complement the exhibition with short professional talks, presentations, educational formats, and live demonstrations.
A separate segment is occupied by the Hair Look Catwalk with professional shows and international hair events. In 2026, Madrid will also host the Alternative Hair Show for the first time. The program includes the AIPP Awards, Premios Fígaro, and other formats aimed at the professional hair community.
For the wellness and spa segment, the Campeonato de España de Masaje is planned, and for brow and lash professionals, the Campeonato de Cejas y Pestañas by Thuya. On the evening of November 14, La Noche de la Belleza will take place — a separate networking event for brand representatives, professionals, and industry leaders.
Who will benefit from LOOK Madrid 2026?
- cosmetologists and professional skincare specialists;
- owners and managers of salons, spas, and beauty studios;
- specialists who work with equipment and professional procedures;
- hairdressers, colorists, and barbers;
- nail, brow, lash, and makeup artists;
- massage therapists and wellness specialists;
- representatives of professional cosmetic brands;
- distributors, buyers, and equipment suppliers;
- beauty business managers and marketers.
Because of the combination of several professional areas, LOOK Madrid is worth planning in advance. There is no point for a cosmetologist in trying to cover the entire exhibition: it is more useful to identify the relevant brands, equipment, Congreso de Estética sessions, and practical demonstrations. Business representatives should also set aside separate time for negotiations with suppliers and international partners.
